In 2018, while renovating his ancestral home, Thomas noticed that the hand tools on the market were gradually losing their human touch.

Plastic handles were cold and slippery, metal parts were shoddily finished, and tools that should have lasted for years often became useless after just a few uses. He remembered his grandfather's words: "Good tools listen to the hand and understand the heart." An idea took root in his mind: to create a set of hand tools that would be passed down through generations, where every tightening and cutting would become a gentle dialogue between the person and the object.

To find the most suitable wooden handle material, Thomas drove through rural woodlands in England, hand-polishing hundreds of samples from oak to walnut.

Only when his fingertips touched the delicate texture of the walnut and it felt heavy but not oppressive in his hand did he decide on the material. To make the jaws bite more precisely, he invited local veteran craftsmen to join the team and manually calibrate each tooth with traditional files, keeping the error within 0.1 mm. This "slowness" may seem a bit "stubborn" in the fast-paced industrial age, but it ensured that the first set of Crisplynx combination tools was snapped up by handcraft enthusiasts as soon as it was unveiled at the Birmingham market.

We make more than just tools; we make connections—connecting craftsmanship with everyday life, connecting users with what they love.

Before every Crisplynx tool leaves the factory, it undergoes a "hand-inspection" by our team members: they grip the handle to feel its comfort and test the tool's feel. Only after confirming it lives up to expectations does it bear the brand's lynx logo (the lynx symbolizes precision and tenacity).

Today, Crisplynx tools have expanded from our old British workshops to the US and Australian markets.

We remain steadfast in our original belief: hand tools shouldn't be cold, industrial products. They should be companions to craftspeople, universal helpers in the home, and the first keys for children to explore the world. When you tighten a screw with a Crisplynx wrench or repair an old object with its pliers, we hope you'll feel the warmth inherent in these tools—the ingenuity of Thomas's grandfather, the perseverance of the veteran craftsmen, and our respect for every piece of "creation."

Because we firmly believe: truly good tools can accompany you through the long years and witness every cherished moment in life.
